GUT HEALTH NATURALLY
WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT AND WHAT IS THE GUT?

The gut or gastrointestinal tract is essentially a long tube that starts from the mouth to the anus. The gut is where we digest, absorb, assimilate and eliminate foods that come into our bodies.
The gut is home to around 70%-80% of the immune system so when I look at gut health I am also looking at immune function. A balanced gut is crucial to overall health and wellness.

Incredibly, Hippocrates, an Ancient Greek physician claimed that
"All disease begins in the gut", he wasn't far wrong!

Who would have thought that gut dysbiosis or imbalance in the microbiome (gut bacteria) could be the cause of skin issues, like acne, eczema, psoriasis and rosacea? Anxiety, depression, diabetes, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's are also impacted by the gut microbiome as is weight control. We now know that those people with poor gut microbiome diversity have the worst outcomes from Covid-19.
Health is our most important asset in life and we should invest our time and money to protect it to the best of our ability in our given circumstances.
We all have the power to influence our health in so many ways, be it large or small.
At Health Naturally, I will teach you how.
